In this tutorial I will show you how to build a JoomlArt JA Mitius Responsive Joomla 3 0 template in less than 2 hours. For most of us, web design is an intimidating task with a steep learning curve. There are so many different elements and techniques that can make or break a website. This template is a fool proof, how-to tutorial that will take you through the challenges of using Joomla! 3 under 1 hour. The template I've chosen is called JA Mitius Responsive Joomla 3 0 and it's one of the best starting points for anyone who needs to know how to build a Joomla! website. Within this article, I will show you how to interact with the template and all the features that are included in it. The tutorial is aimed at both first time Joomla users as well as those who have used Joomla! 1 2 3 4 5 already. The template I will be using is JA Mitius Responsive Joomla 3 0 by JoomlArt. This template comes with all the features you'll need to build any type of website. It has 10 different homepages, unlimited colour schemes, slideshow, dropdown menus, image slider and much more. Step 1: Downloading The Template For this tutorial, we will use the JA Mitius template by JoomlArt which you can download for free from http://www.joomlart.com/extensions/templatestorage/joomla-3-0/ja-mitius-responsive/. To download the template, just log in to Joomla! 3 and press the "Download" button. Step 2: Installing The Template Once you have downloaded our template, you can install it simply by choosing "Install" from the left hand side menu of your Joomla! site. Step 3: Creating Pages For Each Screen With A Custom Menu Item After installing the template, click on the Setup tab at the top right of your browser window. You will see a list of pages that are already created for you. To start editing your new template, click on the "Pages" tab on this list. Once you have clicked on the "Pages" tab, you will see a list of all the pages in your Joomla! installation. The template I chose comes with 10 different homepages. Each one has been set to display on a specific screen size. The blue links below show you which screen size each page will display on when clicked. In this example I am going to use the "Desktop" page which is the default page that was created when installing JA Mitius responsive template. Click on any of these links to create a new page and then click on the "Menus" tab just above your list of pages. cfa1e77820
